Kennel Lixima is in a startsfase.This means that the dogs are not so old yet.Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed about owning my own dogs and have a little kennel. One of my dreames was fulfilled the 16.08.07. Then came little Xina to us.She is the start of the rest of your dreams will come true ;o)
The dogs are living together with us as real family members! The dogs are our kids. The dogs should be part of everything that happens and take part in what is happening in their daily lives. Everything from shows to lie in the bed with us.The family consist of me, Linn-Therese and my boyfriend Jan Trygve. We live in a small town called Horten in Vestfold, Norway.
Our goal is to breed healthy dogs, both mentally and physical. And it is important that the dogs can function well as good family dogs, as well as show dogs. It is also important that we promote the breed positive. To breed healthy dogs are very important for me, so our dogs will be health tested before breeding takes place.
All litters is going to be carefully planned and be of combinations tha we belive will result in offsprings with the qualities that we promote. All combinations that will be done, is dine to promote the breed positive.
Show's are a huge interest for us. So we are often at dog show's with our dogs. It is so mutch fun! To breed dogs that also has show potentials, is some thing that would be werry nice! Dog show's is a perfect place to meet athor breeder's and friends! And that is a perfect opportunity to exchange experiences with the breed. And to talk about dogs ;o)
Learning as much as possible is very exciting! Therefore, I have been on two courses run by The Norwegian Kennelclub. I look forward to learning more on the next course!
